European prize for sustainable energy- Young Energy Trailblazer

Timea Farkas, PhD student at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, specialty Renewable Energy, from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca (UTCN) recently received, in Brussels (Belgium), the European Prize for Sustainable Energy (EUSEW) for the year 2022, in the category ” Young energy pioneers” (Young Energy Trailblazer). The European Commissioner for Energy, Kadri Simson, was the one who congratulated the four award winners, including Eng. Timea Farkas, during the award ceremony. The event marks the European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) and is dedicated to renewable energies and energy efficiency, more specifically in developing replicable programs to improve energy efficiency among small and medium-sized enterprises.
